As the sun sets on the mid North Coast of New South Wales, fishermen wait and become part of the gathering twilight. A thin filament connects them with the timeless ocean and its hidden life. The old man in this picture is my late father, long departed. Even though he and became strangers in his later years, he taught me to fish as a boy. I shall remember him this way. |
