Gardens at Chenonceaux
Loire Region, France

Early Spring in the Loire Valley, with the flowers beginning to bloom, and the mists creating an intimate (if cold) feeling. This is Cenonceaux, one of the famed Chateaux in the Loire Region of France.

Photo Tip: To capture this particular aspect of living at of the famed chateau, you need to get out into the gardens. This picture is of the flowers, and the chateau is in the background. Most people just take the building. But by using the vertical format, and focusing on the flowers and pathways, you get the feeling of walking in the grounds. The chateau is simply the place to go home to, when you are finished walking in the grounds.
