Gum Tree Blossom - Hermosa Beach





©2002 - Jim Everett (James Gordon Gallery)		 The gum tree, or eucalypt, is a native of Australia. It has hundreds of varieties. Like myself, it is very much at home in California.

This vibrant and delicate blossom is part of a "greenbelt" pathway that runs 4 miles from Redondo Beach to Manhattan Beach. This walkway is the path of what was once a railroad.
