The Image
For this picture, I wanted a painted effect, so I used one of the Photoshop brush filters (forget exactly which one). It was critical to retain the feeling of wind in the foreground grasses, as well as the detail of the water's surface around the rocks, with the ripples. The distant shoreline trees have been reduced to a basic hint of their shape, and the mountains have been shown like cardboard cutouts, which is the effect I was striving to achieve. |
