In the desert, southeast of Los Angeles and over the mountains, lies the oasis of Anza-Borrego Springs. On the desert plains, these two plants live side by side and survive the hot, dry conditions there.
PHOTO TIP: Use smallest aperture (F22) to get the greatest depth of field (in focus near and far). Then take a steady position to make up for the slow shutter speed. Focus on the near subject to really make the picture "pop".
