Photo Tip: When shooting pictures from the window of a plane, use the largest aperture you can, to limit ther depth of field, and set the focus to infinity. The large aperture also gives a faster shuttter speed, minimizing shake. The infinity setting and limited depth of field means that you will not see scratches and finger marks on the window. When you import the image into Photoshop (or similar program), hit Autolevels, or simply increase the contrast, and this will eliminate the washed out look that you get when photographing from a plane.
