Hidden Pool

Between Calgary and Banff, there is a stop where one can walk a mile or so alongside a mountain stream to find Johnson's Falls.
The reward is the experience shown in this picture. After scrambling through a cool, damp small cavern, you emerge, to the rushing sound of water. At the foot of this fall, the water has hewn this circular basin for an icy, clear pool of turquoise water. |
